The IP-MP-Serial is a dual-channel IndustryPack module engineered for high-speed serial communication across EIA-232, EIA-422, and EIA-485 standards. Built around the Zilog Z16C30 Universal Multi-Protocol Serial Controller, it delivers independent channels with four 32-byte FIFO buffers per channel and support for synchronous protocols including SDLC, HDLC, bisynchronous, NRZ, NRZI, Biphase, and MIL-STD-1553B. Each channel features its own baud rate generator, digital phase-locked loop, vector register, interrupt controller, and protocol controller, enabling flexible multi-protocol operation in demanding embedded and industrial systems.
