The Abaco Systems VMIVME-1111-020 is a 64-bit high-voltage digital input board for VMEbus systems operating per ANSI/IEEE STD 1014-1987, IEC 821, and IEC 297. The board accepts 64 input channels across differential, electronic switching circuits, standard logic circuits, mechanical switch contacts, relay contacts, and Opto22-compatible signal conditioning modules. Each group of 32 inputs is jumper-selectable for contact closure, voltage sourcing, current sinking, or differential signal monitoring.

Digital Input Channels: 64 channels in two groups of 32, each independently configurable via jumper selection. Input Voltage Thresholds: User-selectable from 1.25 V to 66 V. Differential Signal Performance:
• Common-mode input voltage range: −30 V to +66 V
• Input sensitivity: ±100 mV over common-mode range −7 V to +12 V
• Input impedance: 33 kΩ
• Differential line receivers: RS-422/RS-485-compatible with ±7 V noise immunity Single-Ended Inputs:
• Input impedance: 33 kΩ
• Threshold accuracy: 1% over the entire 66 V range (typical) Data Transfers: Supports 8-, 16-, and 32-bit data transfers. Eight ports individually addressable on 8-, 16-, or 32-bit boundaries. Control and Status Register addressable on 8-bit boundary with thirteen jumpers for address map selection. Interface: Dual 64-pin DIN 41612 connectors. Open Circuit Behavior: Jumper-selectable to provide logic zero or logic one. – Key Features • On-board BIT logic for fault detection and isolation
• Front-panel Fail LED illuminated at power-up, extinguishable under program control
• Double Eurocard form factor
• Optional input signal filter circuit available – Compatibility & Integration Compatible with Abaco Systems Intelligent I/O Controllers including VMIVME-90XX and VMIVME-9300 series. Board entered Restricted Production Phase as of July 4, 2019.
