The Abaco Systems / VMIC VMIVME-2232-010 is a VMEbus-compatible relay output board delivering 32 Form C (SPDT) channels for direct control of external loads. Built-in-Test (BIT) capabilities enable comprehensive active component diagnostics and relay coil state monitoring, with test activation via software, power-up, or system reset. The board employs dual 50-pin SCSI connectors organized as four 8-bit ports, accessible on 8-, 16-, or 32-bit boundaries. All relay drivers are disabled during test mode to prevent unintended output switching while maintaining full data path verification through write/read-back and inverted data readback operations.
