The Acromag/Xembedded/Xycom XVME-240 is an 80-channel TTL-level digital I/O module engineered for VMEbus systems. It delivers high-density I/O capability through 64 bidirectional channels organized in eight byte-wide ports, plus eight edge-selectable interrupt inputs and eight flag output lines. Each port configures independently for input or output operation via the port direction register, while interrupt lines support rising or falling edge triggering with maskable control. Flag outputs function as external interrupt acknowledge signals or general-purpose control lines.
