It employs digital TRAHET technology—combining transfer and heterodyne techniques—to deliver high sensitivity and exceptional resolution. The instrument measures frequency, period, time interval, pulse width (minimum 0.5 µs), pulse repetition frequency (10 Hz to 5 MHz), carrier frequency of pulse-modulated signals, and FM deviation. Resolution reaches 1 Hz in 1 second for microwave frequencies, with decade-selectable settings from 0.1 Hz to 10 MHz and maximum resolution to 0.1 mHz in specific modes. Timebase stability is 1.5 ppm, with accuracy of ±1 count plus time base accuracy. Measurement speed reaches 1000 measurements per second.
