The Aeroflex IFR RD300 Weather Radar Test Set is a precision simulator-tester engineered for testing, calibration, and fault diagnosis of airborne weather radar systems. It performs routine radar testing, pattern verification, gain checks, and system calibration via a single calibrated coaxial cable connection, eliminating extensive equipment reconfiguration.

• Variable Mode Frequency: 9.295 GHz to 9.425 GHz continuously variable
• Track Mode Frequency: Automatically acquires and tracks magnetron frequency within ±25 kHz (pulse widths >2 µs) and ±100 kHz (pulse widths 0.5–2.0 µs)
• AF Mode Offset: ±0.75 MHz from magnetron frequency for AFC centering tests
• Output Power: -50 dBm to -127 dBm in 1 dB and 10 dB steps (calibrated at R/T); 0 to 20 dB boost via CONTOUR control
