The Aeroflex RDX-7708CRW is a Weather Radar Test Set designed for testing and calibration of ARINC 708 Solid State Coherent Weather Radar systems. Operating as an RF source and monitor, it simulates weather radar return signals and atmospheric conditions to verify system performance, accuracy, and reliability. The RDX-7708CRW variant provides dual reference capability, supporting both Rockwell Collins X band (152.777 MHz) and Allied Signal X band (78.6616 MHz) radar systems. This test set delivers precise RF output control across the 9295 to 9425 MHz band with output levels ranging from −50 dBm to −127 dBm in 1 dB steps and ±2 dB accuracy.
