The HP 70000 Modular Measurement System combines the 70004A mainframe with RF and IF section modules (70902A and 70903A) to deliver integrated wideband signal analysis for RF development and characterization. The 70004A is the structural and control hub, housing plug-in modules with full power distribution, cooling, and digital communication via MSIB and HP-IB interfaces. The 70902A IF Section processes 21.4 MHz signals with resolution bandwidths from 10 Hz to 300 kHz, enabling precision spectrum and lightwave signal measurement. This modular architecture scales flexibly across four module slots, supporting RF front-end testing, filter validation, and amplifier characterization in bench and rack environments.
