– Key Features
The probe body features durable stainless-steel construction encased in hard, fracture-resistant plastic for field reliability. A retractable hook tip supports direct circuit-point contact, while dual grounding options—ground bayonet with short flexible lead and alligator clip lead—accommodate different measurement scenarios. Color-coded identification tags (orange, white, blue, green) simplify probe tracking in multi-probe setups. A cable wear indicator alerts users to discontinue use if the contrasting color becomes visible, preventing shock, fire, or equipment damage.
– Typical Applications
Electronic troubleshooting, low-frequency signal validation, component-level circuit debugging, and general laboratory measurement tasks where bandwidth requirements remain below 20 MHz.
– Compatibility & Integration
The probe is designed for Keysight/Agilent oscilloscopes including the 54600, 5000, 6000, 7000, and 9000 Series. When connecting to 50 Ω oscilloscope inputs, an E2697A 1 MΩ input adapter is required. Operating temperature range is −10 °C to 55 °C with humidity tolerance to 90% RH at 40 °C. The Keysight 10070D is the current production model; the discontinued 10070C is functionally equivalent. Shock specification: 400g (1/2 sine, tip end); 50g (1/2 sine, BNC end). Indoor use only, rated to 4600 m altitude.
