The 10431A operates effectively with both 50 Ω and high-impedance oscilloscope inputs (with 50 Ω feed-thru termination). Its resistive divider topology provides excellent system bandwidth for high-frequency measurements where circuit impedances remain low. Avoid sustained overdriving that may thermally stress the voltage division resistor or 50 Ω termination resistor.
