The Agilent/Keysight 83492A is a multimode optical clock recovery module that integrates into 86100 series DCA mainframes to recover clock signals and regenerated data from high-speed optical data streams. Operating across 750 nm to 1600 nm, the module supports data rates from 0.155 Gb/s to 10 Gb/s, including SDH/SONET, Fibre Channel, and Gigabit Ethernet applications. The integrated coupler/splitter minimizes external triggering hardware while delivering three independent trigger sources: narrow bandwidth recovered clock, wider bandwidth recovered clock, and data trigger. Designed for 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber, the 83492A offers high measurement throughput and repeatable extinction ratio measurement capabilities.
