The Agilent/Keysight 86105C is a plug-in sampling module for the 86100C Infiniium DCA-J oscilloscope mainframe that delivers simultaneous optical and electrical signal analysis. It combines a 9 GHz amplified optical channel with a 20 GHz electrical channel to characterize SONET/SDH, datacom, and enterprise signals up to 11.3 Gb/s. The module supports wavelengths from 750 nm to 1650 nm across single-mode and multimode fiber types, with calibrated conversion gains at 850 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm. The optical channel achieves sensitivity from –21 to –16 dBm (typical), while the electrical channel accepts ±2 Vdc maximum input.
