The Agilent/Keysight E1473A is a C-size VXI expander module that extends RF multiplexing capacity with six independent 1×4 multiplexers. Each multiplexer features 50 Ohm characteristic impedance and supports signal routing up to 1.3 GHz. Designed as a slave module with register-based control, the E1473A connects to primary multiplexers (E1472A or E1474A) to scale switching architecture from six banks to as many as eighteen. The module employs non-latching armature relays in a tree-switched configuration, delivering high isolation and low VSWR across its operating range. Insertion loss remains below 1.5 dB to 1.3 GHz, with typical performance extending to 3 GHz at 8.0 dB.
