The Agilent/Keysight N8482B is a thermocouple average power sensor engineered for precise power measurements from 100 kHz to 6 GHz. Built-in EEPROM automatically stores and retrieves calibration factors, eliminating manual setup errors and accelerating meter initialization. The sensor delivers sub-1% power linearity across its dynamic range with excellent return loss characteristics. Low SWR (1.05 to 1.57 depending on frequency) minimizes mismatch uncertainty, while NIST-traceable calibration and annual recalibration maintain measurement integrity. Temperature compensation is active across 0 to 55 °C.
