It supports full Bus Controller, Remote Terminal, and Bus Monitor functionality with integrated signal capture on the first channel for cable diagnostics and cybersecurity analysis. The device operates across 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and delivers UDP request/response latency typically under 10 µs from device to 1553 buffers, with IP/UDP bridging response times as fast as 20 µs. Power input ranges from 5–30 V DC with typical consumption of 300–700 mA, or optionally via IEEE 802.3af PoE (Type 1) up to +55°C ambient. The module is housed in a rugged 13.5 × 3.7 × 4 cm enclosure weighing 200 g and includes 64-bit time tags with 20 ns resolution, IRIG-B RX decode, PPS, hardware triggers, and full error injection/detection. Dual redundant (A/B) MIL-STD-1553 connections use Glenair Mighty Mouse connectors. AltaAPI supports Windows, .NET, LabVIEW, ANSI C, and Linux development without code recompilation, delivering high portability.
