The Anritsu 69087B is a synthesized CW generator delivering ultra-low noise performance across 0.01 GHz to 60 GHz, engineered for RF and microwave applications demanding exceptional signal purity. This instrument combines wide dynamic range output control, fast frequency switching, and integrated list-mode capability for automated test environments. Its compact 13.3 cm footprint minimizes rack real estate while maintaining the high output power required to compensate for switching losses and cable attenuation in complex ATE systems.

Technical Specifications

Frequency Range: 0.01 GHz to 60 GHz. Optional frequency extension available down to 0.1 Hz.

Output Power: +12 dBm to –15 dBm typical; –20 dBm guaranteed across the full range. Leveled output guaranteed to +17 dBm from DC to 20 GHz. Fine output level control with 0.01 dB resolution down to –120 dBm.

Phase Noise: Ultra-low SSB phase noise characteristic of the series—below –60 dBc at 10 kHz offset (referenced to 10 GHz).

Frequency Resolution: 100.0 mHz standard; 0.1 Hz resolution available as an option.

Switching Speed: Frequency hop settling in less than 5 ms for step sizes below 100 MHz.

Spurious Performance: Ultra-low spurious signal content across the operating range.

Frequency Stability: Oven-stabilized internal reference oscillators ensure stability better than 5×10⁻¹⁰ per day.
