The Anritsu MA2424A is a thermocouple-based power sensor for average power measurement across 10 MHz to 40 GHz. It detects thermal gradients using Seebeck elements to deliver true power readings independent of waveform shape. An internal EEPROM stores calibration factors and linearity correction data, which Anritsu power meters read automatically for calibrated output.
