The Anritsu MA2490A is a wideband power sensor delivering accurate measurements across 50 MHz to 8 GHz. It interfaces with Anritsu ML2480 and ML2490 series power meters to characterize average/CW, peak, and crest factor across complex signal types including W-CDMA, WLAN, WiMAX, radar, 3G/4G, and OFDM signals. An internal FET switch enables dual-mode operation—wideband sensing and chopped CW measurement for enhanced low-power stability. Calibration data stored in onboard EEPROM permits automatic frequency, power, and temperature correction by the connected meter.
