The Ashling CT68HC11 is a real-time in-circuit emulator engineered for the Motorola/Freescale 68HC11 microcontroller family and all derivatives. It delivers non-intrusive, real-time emulation with a complete Windows-hosted development environment for hardware debugging, source-level debugging, and software performance analysis across ROM (single-chip), ROMless (external memory), and on-chip EEPROM/EPROM/Flash configurations.
## Technical Specifications
**Emulation & Memory**
• Real-time in-circuit emulation for MC68HC11 devices and derivatives
• 64KB of emulator memory, expandable to 1MB with optional SEB11 Bank Switched memory expansion board
• Dual-port RAM for on-the-fly monitoring
• Bank-switched breakpoints and overlay memory support via optional SEB11 System Expansion Board
**Supported Development Modes**
• ROM (single-chip) operation
• ROMless (external memory) configurations
• On-chip EEPROM/EPROM/Flash modes
## Key Features
**PathFinder Source-Level Debugger**
Integrated debugging interface supporting C and assembler program development. Compatible with Cosmic, Hiware, IAR, and Introl 68HC11 compilers and assemblers. Debug access includes Special Function Registers (SFRs), internal RAM, memory, variables, processor stack, function-call stack, and register windows. Control via mouse, command-line, accelerator keys, or button-bar interfaces. Macro language enables automated test sequences.
**SEA-11 Performance Analyzer (System Execution Analyzer)**
Built-in, real-time measurement instrument for embedded software optimization. Provides non-statistical measurement of minimum, maximum, or total execution time across functions, modules, or complete programs.
**CTMS-11 Code Coverage Measurement System**
Integrated code coverage analysis option within PathFinder for test verification and code assessment.
**Hardware Architecture**
Stand-alone modular system design with integrated power supply and interchangeable probe cards.
## Compatibility & Integration
Supports both C and assembler language development. Works with industry-standard 68HC11 compiler toolchains including Cosmic, Hiware, IAR, and Introl platforms.
