AUSTRON 1250A QUARTZ CRYSTAL FREQUENCY STANDARD

The AUSTRON 1250A is a rack-mountable quartz crystal frequency standard that delivers stable, precise reference signals for synchronization and calibration applications. Built on the proven Austron 1150 platform—a five-megacycle proportional-controlled ovenized oscillator—the 1250A combines AC line power, optional external 24 V supply, and an internal Ni-Cad 12-cell (14.4 V) battery with trickle and charging circuits. Three output frequencies serve diverse measurement requirements: 5 MHz primary output, plus 1 MHz and 100 kHz derived from frequency dividers. A dedicated clock output supplies an additional 1 MHz signal. The unit maintains frequency stability through oven control, monitored via a front-panel meter with six selectable functions: Battery, Regulator, Oven current, 5 MHz amp drive, 1 MHz amp drive, and 100 kHz amp drive.
