The EXFO IQS-9601 is a single-slot utility module that houses passive optical components within EXFO’s IQS-based test systems. It secures and standardizes integration of couplers, isolators, filters, and Bragg gratings, preventing misalignment and damage during operation. The module frame includes mounting hardware—tie wraps and brackets—enabling reliable installation of non-electronic passive elements.
The IQS-9601 accommodates singlemode couplers in 1×2, 1×4, and 1×8 configurations. For 1×2 couplers, coupling ratios include 50/50, 25/75, 1/99, 5/95, and 10/90. All modules support 9/125 µm singlemode fiber across 1310 nm, 1550 nm, or 1310/1550 nm dual-wavelength operation.
