The Fluke 279FC I/B is a wireless True RMS thermal multimeter combining digital multimeter functionality with integrated thermal imaging for comprehensive electrical diagnostics. The instrument delivers 15 measurement functions including AC voltage with low-pass filter, DC voltage, resistance, continuity, capacitance, diode test, frequency, and motor drive (ASD) measurements. True RMS computation ensures accuracy across distorted and uneven waveforms. An integrated thermal imager with 102×77 pixel resolution and 36° x 27° field of view detects hot spots and temperature anomalies from -10 °C to 200 °C across a 162:1 distance-to-spot ratio.
