The Fluke Networks DTX-1800 is a portable cable analyzer delivering Level IV accuracy for certification and troubleshooting of copper and fiber optic cabling infrastructures. Operating to 900 MHz, it certifies Cat 6a, Cat 6, Cat 5e, Cat 5, and Cat 3 copper links in 9–12 seconds while measuring 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance, alien crosstalk, and Power over Ethernet compliance. The platform supports shielded and unshielded twisted pair cabling (STP, FTP, SSTP, UTP) across TIA and ISO/IEC standards. Optional fiber modules enable multimode and singlemode certification at 850 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm wavelengths, with Tier 1 and Tier 2 fiber specs achievable five times faster than conventional methods. Advanced diagnostics pinpoint faults and recommend corrective actions. A large color backlit display, 12–14 hour lithium-ion battery life, and USB connectivity support field efficiency.
