The General Microwave RAHAM 30 is a radiation hazard meter designed to measure microwave power density levels and ensure safety compliance in environments with potential microwave exposure. This thermocouple-based instrument delivers field and laboratory measurements across four selectable ranges, from 0.02 mW/cm² to 20 mW/cm², with frequency-dependent response accuracy of ±1.0 dB maximum from any direction except the handle. The meter operates on battery power and features a fail-safe design: DC bias on the thermocouple sensor triggers full-scale indication if the sensing element fails, eliminating false zero readings in high-power fields.
