The HP/Agilent 8181A is a precision thermocouple power sensor for RF and microwave measurements from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. Operating across a -30 dBm to +20 dBm range, it delivers the accuracy required for component characterization, power meter calibration, and production testing. The sensor’s 50 Ω Type N male connector (Option 001 available with APC-7) integrates directly with established Agilent and HP power meter platforms. Its thermocouple sensing element achieves measurement noise below 110 nW and zero drift under ±10 nW, supporting demanding metrology workflows.
