The HP OmniBER 717 Model 37717C is a field-portable communications performance analyzer for installation, maintenance, and commissioning of PDH/SDH/SONET and ATM transport networks. Supporting rates from 704 kb/s to 622 Mb/s (OC-12/STM-4), this modular tester integrates T-Carrier, PDH, SONET/SDH, ATM, and jitter measurement capabilities in a single mainframe. Its color display and integral floppy disk drive enable rapid field deployment and reconfiguration across SONET or SDH platforms.
