The Keysight 10834A is an HP-IB to HP-IB shielded adapter that connects instruments with 24-pin connectors to standard HP-IB (IEEE-488) interfaces. It extends the HP-IB cable approximately 2.3 cm (0.9 inches) from the instrument’s rear panel, providing critical clearance for accessing rear-panel switches, cables, and connectors that may be positioned adjacent to the HP-IB port. The shielded design maintains signal integrity across the interface transition. The adapter conforms to GPIB form factor standards and integrates with Keysight’s ecosystem of GPIB cables and compatible equipment, including the 10833 series cable assemblies and the E5810A series instruments.
