The Keysight E1421B is a C-size, 6-slot VXI mainframe power supply engineered for compact, cost-effective test system deployments. It delivers 450 W maximum usable power at 55 °C across multiple voltage rails, with comprehensive protection against over-temperature, over-voltage, over-current, and ground faults. The unit supports three input power modes – 50–60 Hz AC (100–240 Vac ±10%), 400 Hz AC (100–120 Vac ±10%), and DC (100–370 Vdc) – with automatic voltage ranging on standard AC input. Pressurized Air Channel cooling provides uniform thermal management at 60 W per slot dissipation with variable or selectable high-speed fan modes. Full VXIbus Specification Revision 1.4 compliance ensures seamless integration with VMEbus architecture, including solid-state daisy-chain jumpering for grant and interrupt acknowledge lines. Rear-panel serviceability and power input, combined with P1/P2 backplane connectors, enable flexible rack-mount or portable configurations.
