The TDK-Lambda GEN 250-40 is a 10 kW programmable DC power supply engineered for industrial and laboratory test environments. This Genesys™ platform unit delivers 0 to 40 Vdc output with up to 250 A continuous current, supported by active power factor correction (0.99 typical) and 83% efficiency. The supply accepts 3-phase AC input at either 208 VAC (180–253 VAC range) or 480 VAC (432–528 VAC range), operating across 47–63 Hz. Output ripple and noise are tightly controlled at 0.02 Vrms voltage and 0.25 Arms current (5 Hz to 1 MHz). Constant voltage/constant current regulation with automatic crossover, 16-bit programming accuracy, and embedded microprocessor control enable precise load matching. RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces ship standard; optional connectivity includes LAN (LXI), USB, GPIB, and isolated analog programming. The unit supports master/slave parallel operation for up to four modules with active current sharing, remote sensing for lead-drop compensation, and adjustable overvoltage protection. Housed in a 3U rack-mount enclosure (429 × 132.5 × 564 mm, 44 kg), it features low-noise variable-speed cooling and zero-stacking thermal design. Safety certification covers EN60950-1 and UL60950-1 compliance with CE/UKCA marking.
