The furnace features a compact cabinet with high-temperature resistant paint and a heat-reflecting element support assembly that creates effective insulating air spaces, reducing exterior surface temperature. A long-life Platinel II thermocouple with 10ft compensated lead wire and polarized plug enables reliable temperature sensing. Temperature control is achieved through an independent digital control console (ordered separately), featuring microprocessor-based PID control with single-segment, single-setpoint ramp capability. The control system displays actual temperature versus setpoint simultaneously in °C or °F, includes built-in adjustable high-limit overtemperature protection, and offers optional RS485 digital communications.
