The Marconi IFR Aeroflex 6910 is a thermocouple RF power sensor delivering precise power measurements from 10 MHz to 20 GHz. It generates an accurate chopped DC analog output proportional to incident RF power, spanning a 50 dB dynamic range with ±0.5% accuracy in its primary measurement band. The sensor couples to Marconi 6950 and 6960 series power meters, as well as CPM and 6200B microwave test sets, via a precision N-type male connector.
Engineered for both benchtop and field deployment, the 6910 handles continuous RF inputs to +25 dBm (300 mW) and peak power to +42 dBm (15 W) for 2 µs pulses. Its rugged construction, compact form factor (104 mm × 33.5 mm dia.), and low 10 nW typical drift after warm-up make it suitable for demanding measurement environments.
