The Marconi IFR Aeroflex 6912 is a medium power thermocouple RF power sensor delivering precise power measurements from 30 kHz to 4.2 GHz. Built around a semiconductor thermocouple sensing element, this sensor measures power levels between -30 dBm and +20 dBm (1 µW to 100 mW) with exceptional accuracy of ±0.5% at 25°C in the 10 dBm to 20 dBm range, improving by a factor of 10 for each lower measurement band. The 6912 handles continuous wave input up to +25 dBm and peak power to +42 dBm (2 µs duration), making it suitable for RF and microwave system testing, calibration, and maintenance workflows.
