The Marconi IFR Aeroflex ATC-601A Transponder Ramp Test Set is a portable test instrument for verification and certification of aircraft transponders operating in Mode S, A, and C. Designed for both bench and ramp operations, it delivers automated and manual testing sequences compliant with FAR Part 43 Appendix F and FAR 91.172. The AUTO TEST function executes comprehensive verification cycles with minimal operator intervention, while individual test selection supports diagnostic troubleshooting during scheduled maintenance.
