The NI ExpressCard-8360 is a single-channel MXI-Express interface that connects laptop computers to external PXI and CompactPCI systems via a standard ExpressCard slot. It establishes a transparent PCI Express link that allows attached chassis to operate as native PCI devices within the host system, enabling high-speed data acquisition and control on portable platforms.
