The NI PCI-7813 / PCI-7813R Series Digital RIO is a reconfigurable I/O device built on a Virtex-II 3M Gate FPGA for custom hardware development and real-time applications. It delivers 160 bidirectional digital I/O channels with hardware-timed precision, supporting counter/timers, PWM, encoder inputs, and user-defined communication protocols via LabVIEW FPGA programming. The device executes onboard decision-making at 25 ns resolution timing and provides 196 KB of onboard memory for high-speed digital pattern generation with DMA data streaming support.
