The NI PCI-GPIB is a high-performance IEEE 488 interface card for PCI-equipped computers, enabling direct communication with GPIB-compatible test instruments. Built on National Instruments’ PCI-MITE and TNT family ASICs, it delivers full IEEE 488.2 compliance with an onboard bus master DMA controller that minimizes processor overhead during transfers. The card operates as a Talker, Listener, and Controller, supporting up to 14 instruments per interface. This package includes a 2-meter Type X2 GPIB cable for immediate deployment.
