Equipment info

The NI sbRIO-9627 is a CompactRIO Single-Board Controller integrating a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, user-reconfigurable Xilinx Zynq-7000 FPGA, and onboard analog/digital I/O on a single PCB. Running NI Linux Real-Time, it delivers real-time embedded control and data acquisition for high-volume OEM applications demanding flexibility and deterministic performance. The development kit includes all components necessary for rapid custom application deployment.

Technical Specifications

Processor: Dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 at 667 MHz running NI Linux Real-Time (32-bit)

Reconfigurable FPGA: Xilinx Zynq-7000 XC7Z020 with 85,000 logic cells, 106,400 flip-flops, 53,200 6-input LUTs, and 220 DSP slices (18 × 25 multipliers)

Memory: 512 MB nonvolatile storage and 512 MB DRAM

Analog I/O: 16-channel 16-bit analog inputs (±10 V, ±5 V, ±2 V, or ±1 V configurable range) and 4-channel 16-bit analog outputs

Digital I/O: 100 total lines including 96 channels of 3.3 V digital I/O on the RMC connector with ±3 mA maximum tested current per channel

Connectivity: Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports (IEEE 802.3, 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiated), three serial ports (two RS-232, one RS-485), one CAN port, one USB Host port (480 Mb/s), and one SDHC slot

Power: External supply 9 VDC to 30 VDC; 55 W recommended at 30 VDC maximum; RMC draws up to 28 W

Environmental: Operating temperature -40 °C to 85 °C with onboard temperature monitoring at CPU/FPGA junction (98 °C max), primary system (85 °C max), and secondary system (85 °C max). Humidity 10–90% RH noncondensing. Maximum altitude 5,000 m. Indoor use only.
