NoiseCom UFX-NPR-L-S-TX

The NoiseCom UFX-NPR-L-S-TX is a precision noise generator engineered for communications, satellite, and military test applications. It generates Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) with high stability and operates across multiple measurement modes: carrier-to-noise (C/N), carrier-to-noise density (C/No), bit energy-to-noise density (Eb/No), carrier-to-interferer (C/I), and power meter functions. The instrument delivers noise output from -60 to 0 dBm with attenuation control from 0 to 127 dB in 1 dB steps (optionally 0.1 dB). Above 2 GHz, attenuation spans 0 to 79 dB in 0.1 dB increments. Ratio accuracy of ±0.2 dB RSS and a noise crest factor up to 18 dB for Gaussian noise support demanding distortion measurements in amplifiers, receivers, and multi-signal FDM systems. The 50 ohm instrument features a true RMS power meter, switched filter bank with up to four filter options (bandpass, lowpass, highpass, notch), and microprocessor control via GPIB or optional Ethernet and serial interfaces.
