The Olympus CYF-5 is a flexible cysto-nephro fiberscope engineered for diagnostic and therapeutic urological procedures in the bladder, urethra, and kidney. Its 5.5 mm outer diameter insertion tube with variable stiffness shaft—stiffer proximally, more flexible distally with passive bending capability—enables smooth navigation and patient comfort without sacrificing image quality. The instrument delivers a 120° field of view with 3–50 mm depth of field and forward-viewing optics via high-resolution fiber optic imaging.
