The OMRON DRT2-MD16S is a DeviceNet slave remote I/O module that bridges field devices to master controllers via DeviceNet networks. It provides 8 PNP digital inputs and 8 PNP digital outputs with industry-standard e-CON connectors for tool-free sensor integration. Built-in diagnostics monitor short-circuit conditions, network power supply voltage, unit conduction time, and contact operation counts, enabling predictive maintenance strategies based on accumulated operating hours and ON/OFF cycle data.
