The Photonetics 3624 BT-19 is a benchtop Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) engineered to amplify optical signals in the C-band with high gain and low noise performance. Designed for long-haul telecommunications, cable television, and research applications, it delivers small-signal net gain exceeding 35 dB at 1530 nm with a noise figure of 4.5 dB typical. The unit provides gain flatness within 1 dB across the 1530–1560 nm range and supports saturated output power up to +20 dBm. Benchtop and rack-mount configurations are available with IEEE-488 computer control and rear-panel analog monitoring outputs.
