The Picotest J2101A is a wideband injection transformer that enables precise test signal injection into control loops without significantly degrading device performance. It functions as a critical interface between network analyzers and circuits under test, allowing engineers to measure loop response, gain, and phase margin in power supplies, DC-DC converters, and voltage regulators. The transformer provides galvanic isolation and low-distortion signal transmission across a wide frequency range, making it suitable for stability analysis in both low-frequency offline supplies and high-speed modern regulators.
