The Rigol DSG815 is an RF signal generator spanning 9 kHz to 1.5 GHz, engineered for communications, instrumentation, R&D, education, and field service applications. It delivers amplitude outputs from -110 dBm to +13 dBm with < 0.5 dB accuracy and exceptional phase noise performance of 70 dB on/off ratio and < 50 ns rise/fall time. Frequency synthesis achieves 0.01 Hz resolution with temperature stability < 2 ppm (0°C to 50°C) using the internal reference, upgradeable to < 5 ppb with the optional OCXO-B08. Comprehensive sweep functionality includes frequency and level sweeps with up to 65,535 points in step mode or 6,001 points in list mode, supporting single and continuous operation across triangular and ramp waveforms. A 3.5" TFT LCD display and compact 4.2 kg form factor (261.5 × 112 × 318.4 mm) enable portable deployment. The instrument provides LF output capability (500 mV sine/square at 1 kHz), system flatness calibration, and 10 MHz reference frequency I/O with external reference locking to ±5 ppm.
