The Rohde & Schwarz FSUP26 is a high-performance signal source analyzer that combines spectrum and signal analysis with dedicated phase noise measurement in a single instrument. Operating from 1 MHz to 26.5 GHz, it extends to 50 GHz and 110 GHz with optional external mixers. The FSUP26 characterizes oscillators, synthesizers, amplifiers, and VCOs through phase noise, AM noise, baseband noise, and residual phase noise measurements. Advanced cross-correlation techniques deliver up to 20 dB dynamic range improvement at 26 GHz. The instrument analyzes digital and analog modulated signals, detects and suppresses interference, and performs time-domain transient analysis of oscillator response. Two very-low-noise internal DC outputs enable tuning voltage and supply characterization. Optional preamplifiers and electronic attenuators support noise figure and gain measurements across the full frequency range. A 3.5 mm connector and LAN interface provide flexible measurement integration and remote operation.
