The Rohde & Schwarz NRP18S(N) is a three-path diode power sensor for average and CW power measurements from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. It delivers a 93 dB dynamic range across -70 dBm to +23 dBm with high accuracy independent of modulation type. The three-path architecture minimizes susceptibility to interfering signals and harmonics, enabling reliable measurements on GSM, 3GPP, LTE, and LTE-Advanced signals. Measurement speed reaches 50,000 readings/s in fast continuous average mode, or up to 10,000 triggered measurements/s with 100 µs minimum repetition time in buffered mode. The sensor stores full calibration data internally, functioning as a standalone instrument or integrating with the R&S NRP2 base unit, USB-connected PC/laptop, or networked Rohde & Schwarz systems.
