The Rohde & Schwarz UPA is a precision audio analyzer and signal generator operating across 10 Hz to 100 kHz. It delivers RMS-level measurements from 10 µV to 300 V (unbalanced) with ±1% ±1 digit accuracy, signal-to-noise ratio analysis to 120 dB, and frequency counting to 250 kHz. The instrument provides phase measurement resolution of 0.1° and DC voltage measurement to ±300 V. Optional modules enable distortion analysis (THD/THD+N to the 9th harmonic order), wow-and-flutter measurement per DIN, CCIR, IEC, NAB, and JIS standards, and custom filter configurations. The generator option delivers crystal-accurate sine waves at ±0.01% frequency accuracy with selectable output impedance, while integrated high-pass and low-pass filters—plus optional CCIR and CCITT variants—support demanding audio characterization across production quality control and research environments.
