The Rohde & Schwarz URV35 is a dual-function voltage and power level meter operating from DC to 40 GHz, engineered for precision measurement in service, production, and laboratory environments. It combines an analog moving-coil display with selectable 4½-digit or 3½-digit digital readout, enabling simultaneous assessment of signal magnitude across RF and microwave applications. The instrument features menu-guided operation, autorange capability, and high RF shielding for accurate near-field antenna measurements. Frequency-response correction is applied automatically via calibration data stored in each measuring head, with frequency input via manual entry, serial interface, or DC voltage at the DC FREQ input. The URV35 operates on AC mains or optional battery power with automatic 8-hour shutdown to preserve battery life.
