The Rohde & Schwarz ZVA24 is a vector network analyzer operating from 10 MHz to 24 GHz, designed for S-parameter measurement and characterization of RF and microwave components. Available in 2- and 4-port configurations, it delivers dynamic range exceeding 140 dB and measurement speed under 3.5 µs per test point. The instrument performs vector and scalar network analysis, linear and nonlinear amplifier measurements, mixer characterization, noise figure assessment, and pulse profile analysis with 12.5 ns resolution. True differential measurement capability enables reliable characterization of active devices with balanced ports. Frequency resolution reaches 1 Hz with measurement bandwidth from 1 Hz to 1 MHz, supporting up to 60,001 test points. Output power spans -30 dBm to +13 dBm up to 12 GHz with maximum output of 18 dBm. Input noise floor reaches -115 dBm up to 13 GHz. The analyzer includes versatile calibration techniques—TOSM, TRL/LRL, TOM, TRM, TNA, UOSM—with automatic calibration units completing four-port calibration across 201 test points in under 30 seconds. Equipped with 3.5 mm male connectors, 50Ω impedance, and communication via GPIB, LAN, and USB interfaces. USB ports support direct connection of R&S NRP power sensors for integrated measurement workflows.
