The Rohde & Schwarz ZVRE is a 4 GHz vector network analyzer designed for full two-port S-parameter characterization of RF components from 9 kHz to 4 GHz. This economy-class instrument integrates a signal generator, test set, and dual-channel receiver in a single unit, enabling bidirectional measurement of all four S-parameters without reconnecting the device under test. The integrated test set employs SWR bridges or directional couplers with RF switching to support two measurement channels and one reference channel, delivering dynamic range exceeding 125 dB and inherent noise below -130 dBm at 3 kHz measurement bandwidth.
