The Schneider Electric/Eurotherm 2116/CC/VH/ENG is a 1/16 DIN (48 mm × 48 mm) PID temperature controller engineered for precision thermal management in industrial heating and cooling systems. The unit delivers both PID and On/Off control modes with self-tuning algorithms, ramp-and-soak profile generation, and advanced sensor diagnostics. It accepts thermocouples (J, K, L, R, B, N, T, S, Platinell II), 100 Ω Pt RTDs, and linear mV inputs (-12 to +80 mV) with configurable scaling and automatic cold-junction compensation. Two independently configurable outputs—one logic output (9 Vdc, 12 mA) and one relay output (2 A, 264 V ac resistive)—support heating, cooling, or alarm functions. The controller features three internal soft-alarm channels with HOME screen messaging, IP65/NEMA 4X panel sealing, and operates from 85 to 264 VAC (VH) at maximum 5 W consumption. English-language interface with LED display and screw-terminal connectivity (0.5–1.5 mm wire, 0.4 Nm torque). Supplied snubber (22 nF/100 Ω) protects relay contacts in inductive applications.
